Metallurgy Engineering

Significance of Branch :
Metallurgical Engineering is a broad field that deals with all sorts of metal-related areas. Metallurgical engineers develop ways of processing metals and converting them into useful products. The three main branches of this major are physical metallurgy, extractive metallurgy and mineral processing. Metallurgical engineers are employed in many industries and work for companies that refine, produce, manufacture and distribute metals.

Career Opportunities :
Metallurgical engineering has a wide scope. Because metals are used in so many industries, employment can be in large companies or small consulting firms.
